Please tell me that you traced that map. Otherwise rounds of drawing jealousy coming your way!
John: I brought two books: "The Name of the Rose" by Umberto Eco and "The Thurber Carnival", a collection of short stories. These books were at the suggestion of Evan and Jenny. "When Asia Was the World" sounds good. Maybe I'll check it out in one of the massive book stores in Bangkok.

nice itinerary, although I hope that Baikal is on the list, just not on the map.
